The bottles are BPA free and hold 22 ounces. To purchase, please visit Dr. Cienkowski’s lab (PCSB 138) on Tuesdays and Fridays or Dr. Tufts’ lab (PCSB 136) on Mondays and Fridays. You can contact Dara Kelly, Bethany Goddiess, or Tracie Tuss for more information.
New student organization
IGERT faculty Dr. Marie Coppola (PSYC, LING) and Dr. Rachel Theodore (SLHS) are seeking undergraduates to form a new student organization called Language for All. The goal of this organization is to promote awareness of linguistic development with a particular emphasis on underrepresented groups (e.g., poverty, developing nations, bilinguals) and language systems (e.g., signed languages). The organization will promote advocacy for language access through education and service.
Top-notch undergraduates are being recruited to form the chartering body of this new student organization. By being a member of this organization from the ground-up, you’ll get an opportunity to draft our constitution, formalize our affiliation with UConn, and help set the goals and priorities of the organization. Underclassmen and upperclassmen are welcome to join.
If you’re interested in being part of this group, then please complete the form at http://goo.gl/zPlQwy. Your responses will be sent to Dr. Coppola and Dr. Theodore.
